After an impressive win over the Guangsha Lions in their game last Sunday, the team of Shenzhen New Century Leopards replicated their lopsided victory in the expense of the Zhejiang Golden Bulls with a dominating 124-85 triumph in the 17th round of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) on Wednesday night.

According to EuroBasket, American point guard Jeremy Pargo scored game-high 33 points to go along with six assists, three rebounds, and one steal to lead the Leopards to their 13th victory of the regular season. The former NBA journeyman went 8-for-11 from the two-point range and connected 5-of-6 from the three-point marker.
Leopard's other former NBA player Maciej Lampe had another double-double game performance of 25 markers and 13 boards, while Chinese players QuAn Gu and Zijie Shen contributed with 15 points and 13 points, respectively.
With the win, the Leopards improved to a better 13 wins and four losses record to move to the fifth spot of the Chinese league's team standing. On the other hand, the Golden Bulls dropped to a disappointing 4-13 win-loss card and their latest downfall would mean another big road block to their campaign in reaching the playoffs.
Chinese forward YongPeng Zhang paced Zhejiang with 21 points, while Qian Wu added with 18 points for the losing side, who were plagued with 25 personal team fouls and committed 20 turnovers during the game.
Basing in the game result in NowGoal, Shenzhen almost completely dominated the entire game by outscoring the opposing team in all of the four quarters of the contest. The Leopards established a 14-point advantage in the first half, 64-50, and continued to pound the Golden Bulls in the final 24 minutes of the game with another 60-35 run to secure the victory.
The Leopards will be facing the team of Jiangsu Monkey Kings in the next round on Friday, while Zhejiang will play Jilin Northeast Tigers.
