Chinese Basketball Association: Xinjiang Flying Tigers Claim Another Victory; Darius Adams Scores 27 Points

(Photo : Getty Images) Darius Adams once again led the Flying Tigers to another victorious game after scoring game-high 27 points.
Xinjiang Flying Tigers demolished the visiting team of Bayi Rockets with a 111-85 victory in the 17th round of the regular season of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) on Wednesday night in Urumqi.
According to EuroBasket, 2014 Basketball Bundesliga Best Offensive Player Darius Adams once again led the Flying Tigers to another victorious game after scoring game-high 27 points to go along with five assists and four rebounds in 30 minutes of playing time. The 27-year-old American-Bulgarian point guard went 9-for-12 from the two-point range and made all of the three free throw shots awarded to him during the game.

The Qiuping Liu-headed team enjoyed the luxury of having four other players finishing the game in double figures, with Chinese guard Xirelijiang Muhtar scoring 20 points and NBA recruit Qi Zhou adding with a double-double game production of 17 points and 15 rebounds to go along with six solid blocked shots.
The 24-year-old big man TongLin Sun also had a productive night after having a near double-double game performance of 13 points and nine rebounds while forward Gen Li adding with 13 markers of his own for the winners.
Azat Shoklet paced Bayi with 18 points and Hao Fu added 16 markers and 10 boards for the losing side.
With the victory, the Flying Tigers improved to a better 14-3 win-loss record and currently tied with the teams of Guangdong Southern Tigers and Guangsha Lions for the second to fourth place in the Chinese league's team standing. The favorable game also extended Xinjiang's winning run to five straight victories in a row.
Basing from the game result in NowGoal, Xinjiang established an early 10-point lead during the opening quarter after staging a 27-17 run and capped the first half leading by seven points, 54-47.
The Flying Tigers continued to control the game in the second half with a combined 57-38 run during the third and final periods of the contest to seal the win.
