Chinese Basketball Association: Darius Adams Lifts Xinjiang Flying Tigers in Win over Tianjin Gold Lions

Xinjiang Flying Tigers' streak of winnings continues to stretch as they score another impressive victory in the expense of the Tianjin Gold Lions with a 104-96 triumph in the 19th round of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA).

The league's fourth leading scorer connected 10 three-pointers during the game and went 6-11 from the two-point range while converting 10-12 from the foul line.

NBA recruit Qi Zhou finished the game with another double-double game production of 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Chinese forward Makan KelanBaike, who will be facing the Stephon Marbury-led team of the Beijing Ducks in the next round on Friday, added with 13 markers for the winning side.

American-Ukrainian veteran point guard Eugene Jeter paced Tianjin with 26 points and nine assists while fellow foreign basketball reinforcement Jeremy Tyler added with 21 markers.

With the victory, the Flying Tigers now improved to a better 16-3 win-loss card and currently tied with the Guangdong Southern Tigers for the second and third place in league's team standing. It also extends Xinjiang's winning streak to seven straight games in a row.

Basing from the match result in the website of NowGoal, the winning team put on an early 30-25 run during the opening period. However, the Gold Lions managed to regroup in the second quarter and staged a 30-16 run to cap the first 24 minutes of the ballgame leading 55-46.

In the third period, Xinjiang rallied and stormed Tianjin with a 29-18 charge to enter the final quarter carrying a slim two-point advantage, 75-73.

In the final quarter, the Flying Tigers were able to protect their lead and limit the point production of the opposing team as they put on a 29-23 run to seal the win.
