Gionee P7 Smartphone Officially Launched in India

Chinese smartphone maker Gionee officially launched its latest device - the Gionee P7 smartphone - in India. The device is currently priced in India at Rs. 9,999 (approximately $147.31/1,024.00 yuan).

The launched for the Gionee P7 smartphone was headed by Director of Marketing Communications of Gionee India, Deepika Singh. According to Singh, this latest device comes with a figure of strength and great performance. He also emphasized about the enhanced 4G technology built into the device.
As for the specification, the Gionee P7 smartphone features a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display screen with Soda lime protection. Under the hood, the handheld device is powered by an unknown quad-core processor clocked at a speed of 1.3GHz. It comes equipped with 2GB of RAM onboard and a built-in 16GB internal memory storage, which can be further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.
On the photography side, the Gionee P7 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. The device runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box, along with Gionee's Amigo 3.2 user interface laid on top. It is also backed by a 2,300 mAH capacity battery, which is claimed to offer a standby time of up to 259 hours.
Other features the device offers include 4G connectivity with VoLTE and CDMA support, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetootn 4.0, and GPS. The smartphone also features text recognition in pictures, GIF creator, and an intelligent photo crop.
