Kevin Durant scored 26 points, pulled down nine rebounds, and dished out seven assists, as the league's leading team of Golden State Warriors turned an ugly start into an easy ending in a 117-101 triumph over the poor performing side of the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday night at the Barclay Center in New York City.

According to a published report of the ESPN, starting shooting guard Klay Thompson added 23 points for the Warriors, who kicked off a three-game road trip that leads into their NBA Finals rematch against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Christmas day.
The 2015-16 Western Conference champions did not look ready while trailing behind by 16 points at the halftime. But they were able to put on a remarkable comeback in the succeeding two quarters of the match and outscored the host team by 32 points over the final 24 minutes of the ballgame.
Starters Stephen Curry and Zaza Pachulia each end the match with 15 points for the Warriors, who played without the team's top defensive player Draymond Green, who returned to the Bay Area early Thursday following the birth of his son, Draymond Jamal Green Jr.
Big man Brook Lopez poured in 28 points but was limited to just five points in the second half, while starting guards Sean Kilpatrick and Jeremy Lin added with 14 and 10 markers, respectively, for the Nets, which dropped their fourth straight and tied Philadephia 76ers in bottom of the eastern Conference team standing with 7-21 record.
According to the league's official website, the victory extended the team's winning streak to six consecutive wins and improved the NBA's best record to 26-4. The Warriors have won nine of the last 10 games they played and built on a 14-2 record on matches played on road.
On Friday, the Warriors will visit Detroit Pistons, while the Nets will play the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Quicken Loans Arena.
