South Korean smartphone manufacturer Samsung has already confirmed the existence of the 2017 Galaxy A series. However, the company did not announce when the phones are going to hit the market. Recently, Samsung Malaysia has inadvertently released promotional fliers revealing the price of the Samsung A7 and Samsung A5.

The prices are exclusive to the Malaysian market only, and it does not confirm whether the devices will have the same prices when they hit other regions. However, the leak provided the tech community a rough estimate of how much the smartphones will cost once they are released on the international market.
Based on the leaked flier, the Samsung A5 will cost roughly $380, while the Galaxy A7 will cost around $425, according to Android Headlines. The promotional material also confirmed that pre-orders for the two smartphones will open on Jan. 6 and will run until Jan. 18.
Samsung is expected to roll out three A series phones next year. These are the A3, A5, and A7 smartphones. All of these devices are IP68 certified, which means that they are water and dust resistant. Samsung claimed that the smartphones can survive up to 30 minutes underwater with depths of up to 1.5 meters.
All three smartphones are also equipped with an NFC sensor and fingerprint scanner. All three are also expected to support Samsung Pay, Samsung's mobile payment system.
A leaked user manual also revealed that all three A series smartphones from Samsung will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow instead of the newer Android 7.0 Nougat mobile operating system, according to Phone Arena.
