Much to the delight of Chinese soccer fans, Oscar scored a goal on his debut for Shanghai SIPG. Although the Brazilin midfielder showed his goal scoring exploit in a friendly match, his debut goal is bond to raise expectation among Chinese fans.
Oscar started the game against Saudi Arabian side Al-Batin as a substitute and came on the pitch only in the second half. His arrival had an immediate impact for Shanghai SIPG as the former Chelsea midfielder netted the goal for his team.

Few minutes later, Oscar again proved his worth as he won a free kick for his team at a goal-scoring position. The free kick was eventually converted into a decisive goal, with Lu Wenjun strucking the winner.
Shanghai SIPG finally won the friendly tie against Al-Batin with a 2-1 score.
"I only trained for two days. This is the start of a new season. We have only one goal, which is to win," Oscar said after the match.
The Brazilian international also complimented his Chinese teammates for displaying an impressive performance in such a short time.
Oscar will make an official debut for Shanghai SIPG in March when the new season for Chinese Super League (CSL) begins.
The Brazilian midfielder is by far the biggest CSL signing for the 2017 season. The Shanghai-based club snatched him from Chelsea with a record transfer fee, which apparently is one of the costliest transfer deals in Football's history.
Former Manchester United player Carlos Tevez is another high profile signing for CSL this month.
