ASUS to Launch ZenFone 3 Zoom Smartphone in February

ASUS has revealed the official price of its latest upcoming smartphone called the ASUS Zenfone 3 ahead of the launch date in China. The phone will be priced at around 3,699 Yuan (approximately $528/ Rs 36,000) and is expected to be available in the market next month.

The ZenFone 3 Zoom smartphone was recently announced at CES 2017 in Las Vegas last week, but the availability and pricing of the device were not shared. Today, ASUS officially confirmed that the 128GB model will be priced at 3,699 Yuan ($529). However, the pricing of the 32GB and 64GB versions was not revealed but is expected to be cheaper.
As for the specifications, the ASUS ZenFone 3 Zoom smartphone features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display screen protected by the fifth generation Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood, the handheld device is powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor, paired with Adreno 506 GPU. The device will be shipping with multiple RAM and storage configurations.
On the camera side, the Zenfone 3 Zoom sports a dual 12-megapixel + 12-megapixel rear camera setup. One of the rear lenses is a Sony IMX362 sensor, while the other supports wide-angle f/1.7 aperture sensor, giving 2.3 times of optical zoom. On the front is 13-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling purposes.
ASUS ZenFone 3 Zoom is backed by a 5,000mAh capacity battery. It runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box.The phone has a 7.9 mm thickness and weighs around 170 grams. It will be available in Navy Black, Glacier Silver, and Rose Gold.
