The team of Shenzhen New Century Leopards will be looking to register its second win over the low-ranking ballclub of the Bayi Rockets in the 30th round of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) on Sunday evening.
According to Asia-Basket, Shenzhen currently holds a 19-10 win-loss record and currently sits at the sixth spot of the 20-team Chinese league team standings. They have won their most recent game in the previous round against the Qingdao Eagles on Wednesday with a 112-97 victory.

The Leopards have defeated the Rockets in their initial matchup last November 27 with an 84-77 victory in the 11th round of the ongoing regular season. Shenzhen is expected to make a repeat of its triumph against the poor performing team of Bayi.
Bayi remains at the bottom of the table together with the Guangzhou Long-Lions with a disappointing 5-24 record. The Rockets, who are certainly out of the race for the CBA's final eight, have lost six straight games and dropped eight of the last ten games played.
Former NBA players Jeremy Pargo and Maciej Lampe are expected to carry the Qun Li-headed basketball squad once again in claiming another victorious battle against the Rockets. In Shenzhen's most recent game, the two foreign reinforcements have a combined 39 points with veteran big man Lampe grabbing game-high 17 rebounds while shooting 11-15 from the two-point range, basing from the box score of the EuroBasket.
Lampe is the CBA's ninth leading rebounder (12.3 rebounds per game) while Pargo is the league's fourth-best playmaker with a 7.2 assists per contest average in addition to his team-best 25.1 points per game median.
With nine games left in their regular season schedule, a win will always make a big difference as the playoffs season is fast approaching; Shenzhen is just two full games ahead of the seventh-ranked Shandong Golden Stars and three victories in front of the Beijing Ducks, who are currently in the eighth spot of the team standings.
