ZTE's Upcoming Smartphone BA602 Appears on TENAA's Website

(Photo : Twitter) It is unclear when ZTE's upcoming smartphone would finally hit the market.
An upcoming ZTE smartphone, with the model number BA602, model has been listed on the website of China's telecommunication certification authority (TENAA), suggesting that the Chinese tech firm is expanding its portfolio of low and mid-range smartphones.
The new device from ZTE has been certified by the Chinese telecommunication authority. The listing did not include the exact chipset that will power the new smartphone.

The device is powered by a quad-core chipset clocked at 1.25 GHz. It comes in three variants: one with 1GB of RAM/8GB of internal storage, another with 2GB of RAM/16GB of internal storage, and the third version with 3GB of RAM/32GB of internal storage. The device is expected to run on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow with ZTE’s custom Android user interface.
The device will have a 5.5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720, and a pixel density of 267 pixels per inch. It will come with a 3000mAh battery. The smartphone will have an eight megapixels rear camera with a fingerprint sensor and a two megapixels front-facing camera. The smartphone measures 153.3 x 77 x 8.6mm in dimensions and weighs 168 grams.
ZTE’s upcoming smartphone appears to be made out of plastic. It will be available in five colors; Quicksand Gold, Galaxy Silver, Phantom Gray, Quiet Blue, and Black. Details about the price and availability of the smartphone have not been announced yet.
