Table Tennis: Chinese Paddlers Make Clean Sweep of the ITTF World Tour Hungarian Open

China dominated the final day of the Seamaster 2017 ITTF (International Table Tennis Federation) World Tour Hungarian Open table tennis international tournament on Sunday with Chinese paddlers winning all four events in the competition.
In the men's singles final, China's Yan An stood victorious as he took the Men's Singles event's top honor with an impressive 4-2 triumph (13-11, 6-11, 11-7, 11-6, 10-12, 11-8).

"It was a challenging final against my teammate. The moment I felt I could break through it was in the fourth game when I took the lead 7-5 and then 9-5. I felt the strength in me to be able to win this final", the 24-year-old Yan An said.
Meanwhile, Chen Xingtong also claimed the highest honor in the women's singles event, winning over her compatriot Wen Jia in five sets, 4-1.
The Chinese tandem of Fang Bo and Zhou Yu won the men's doubles with a 3-1 triumph after beating the Brazilian pair of Hugo Calderano and Gustavo Tsuboi.
The Chinese pairing of Chen Xingtong and Li Jiayi bagged the women's doubles after a 3-1 win over the table tennis combination of Matilda Ekholm of Sweden and Georgina Pota of Hungary.

The Hungarian Open, which is held in the city of Budapest, was the primary event of the season. A total of 350 competitors from 54 different countries and regions took part in the prestigious event.
The India Open is next on the calendar. It will be staged in country's massive metropolitan area of the New Delhi from February 16-19.
