Chinese Basketball Association: Liaoning Flying Leopards Beat Qingdao Eagles, Extends Winning Streak to Four

The team of the Liaoning Flying Leopards continued to extend its winning run as they defeated Qingdao Eagles with a 113-100 win in the 31st round of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) on Tuesday night.
According to Sina, the league's last season runners-up led the match from the opening quarter with former NBA players Lester Hudson and Shavlik Randolph combining for 45 points and 13 rebounds. Chinese basketball hotshot Guo Ailun poured in 23 points and Zhao Jiwei contributed with 16 points.

The victory was the Flying Tigers' fourth straight win in a row. They have improved to a better 24-7 win-loss record and currently tied with the Guangsha Lions for the third and fourth place in the team standings.
Basing from the match result in NowGoal, Liaoning established an early 10-point lead during the first 12 minutes of the contest after storming Qingdao with a 30-20 run. Qingdao put on a 29-28 charge to cut the deficit to just nine as the first half ended.
In the third quarter, the Eagles continued to trim down the Flying Leopards' lead as they stage a 32-30 run to further narrow the gap to just seven points, 88-81 as the game enters the final twelve minutes of the ballgame.
However, the Flying Leopards were able to extinguish the hot offensive attacks of the opposing team as they outscored the Eagles in final period of the contest with a 25-19 run to walk away with the victory.
Meanwhile, in Tuesday's other matches, the Bayi Rockets defeated Jilin Northeast Tigers 97-87, Shandong Golden Stars downs Shenzhen New Century Leopards 117-106, Guangzhou Long-Lions yielded to the Beijing Ducks 76-86 and Tianjin Gold Lions beat Guangdong Southern Tigers 132-122.
The Guangsha Lions crushed Jiangsu Tongxi Monkey King 107-92, Sichuan Blue Whales got the better of Fujian Sturgeons 115-111, Jiangsu Dragons outlast Beikong Fly Dragons 115-109 and Zhejiang Golden Bulls overpowered Shanxi Brave Dragons 114-99.
