Gionee F5 Smartphone Officially Launched in China with 4GB RAM and 8MP Front Camera

Chinese smartphone maker Gionee officially launched its latest device dubbed as the Gionee F5 smartphone in China. The device is currently priced at 1799 Yuan (approximately $262 / Rs. 17,600) in the country.
The Gionee F5 smartphone features a 5.3-inch HD display screen with 1280 pixels by 720 pixels resolution and 2.5D glass on the top. Under the hood, the handheld device is powered by an octa-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6750 processor, which is paired with 4GB of RAM onboard. It comes with a built-in 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 128GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

In the camera department, the Gionee F5 smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash support. On the front is an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. It runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box, which is coupled with Gionee's latest customized Amigo user interface laid on top. Fueling the device is a non-removable 4,000 mAh capacity battery that can last up to 9 hours of talk time and 28 hours of music playback.
Other features the Gionee F5 smartphone offers include supports dual SIM dual standby, 4G VoLTE network supports, Wi-Fi, fingerprint sensor embedded into the physical home button, GPS, 3.5mm Audio port, Bluetooth 4.0, and MicroUSB 2.0.
The sensors available on the device are Gyro, Gravity Sensor, Distance Sensing, Light Sensor, and Compass. It measures body dimensions of 150 mm x 74.5 mm x 7.7 mm and weighs around 162 grams. The Gionee F5 is available in Gold and Rose Gold color options in China.
