An upcoming Gionee smartphone dubbed as the Gionee P8 Max smartphone has been spotted online. The latest device is said to feature a 5.5-inch display screen and 3,150mAh capacity battery.

According to the leaks, the Gionee P8 Max smartphone features an impressive 5.5-inch HD IPS LCD display screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and a pixel density of 267 ppi. The screen of the device is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an unknown quad-core processor clocked at a speed fo 1.5Ghz.

On the photography side, the Gionee P8 Max sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus support and LED flash, while the front flaunts an 8-megapixel shooter. Interestingly, the cameras are capable of recording videos of up 1080p at 30 frames per second, HDR support, and Panorama Wide Angle.

The Gionee P8 Max runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box with Gionee's latest Amigo UI laid on the top. It comes equipped with 3GB of RAM onboard and a 32GB native internal memory storage that is not expandable.

Other features the device offers include supports 4G LTE network connectivity on both the SIM slots; multi-window feature, or also called as Split-screen; Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n; Bluetooth v4.0; and GPS with A-GPS. Leaked images of the device show that it will be available in two color options - Black and Gold.

Meanwhile, the company is also set to launch the Gionee P7 Max smartphone in the market soon.
