Gionee A1 Smartphone Officially Launched at MWC 2017

Chinese smartphone maker Gionee officially launched its latest device dubbed as the Gionee A1 at Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona, Spain. The price of the device has not been revealed by the company, however, Gionee has confirmed that the Gionee A1 will be available starting March this year.

The highlight of the Gionee A1 smartphone, according to Gionee is its superior selfie photo quality and long battery life. The device sports a massive 4,010 mAh capacity battery with its new 18W 'ultrafast charging' technology that fully charges the phone battery in 2 hours.
In terms of the specifications, the Gionee A1 smartphone features 5.5-inch Full HD display screen with a resolution of 1920 pixels by 1080 pixels. Under the hood, the handheld device is powered by MediaTek's Helio P10 processor, which is paired with a massive 4GB of RAM onboard. It comes equipped with a built-in 64GB of internal memory storage, which can be further expandable via a dedicated microSD card.
In the photography department, the Gionee A1 smartphone sports a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera with PDAF and LED flash support. On the front is a 13-megapixel front sensor for selfies and video chats.
The smartphone runs on the latest Android 7.0 (Nougat) operating system out of the box, along with Gionee's latest Amigo OS user interface laid on top of it. As mentioned earlier, the handset is fueled by a 4,010 mAh capacity battery along with fast charging support.
Other features the Gionee A1 smartphone offers include dual-SIM support, 4G LTE network, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, and USB OTG.
