Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee officially launched its latest device - the Gionee A1 Plus smartphone - at Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona, Spain. The Gionee A1 Plus will be available in the market starting April this year.

The highlight of the Gionee A1 Plus smartphone is its long-battery life and superior selfie photo quality. Interestingly, the phone sports a massive 4,550 mAh capacity battery along with Gionee's latest 18W 'ultrafast charging' technology that fully charges the phone battery in just 2 hours.

In terms of the specifications, the Gionee A1 Plus smartphone features a huge 6-inch Full HD display screen with a resolution of 1920 pixels by 1080 pixels. Under the hood, the handheld device is powered by MediaTek's Helio P25 processor. It has 4GB of RAM onboard and comes with a built-in 64GB of internal memory storage, which can be further expandable up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD card.

On the photography department, the Gionee A1 Plus sports a massive 20-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. Interestingly, the front camera comes with Bokeh-Selfie Mode feature. The rear cameras of the phone houses dual sensors, one with 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensor. As mentioned earlier, the smartphone is powered by a 4,550 mAh capacity battery with Gionee's ultrafast charging technology.

On the software front, the Gionee A1 Plus smartphone runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) operating system out of the box, which is coupled with Amigo OS user interface laid on top of it. Connectivity options on the phone include dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G, and USB OTG.
