Xiaomi Redmi 4X Smartphone Officially Launched

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has officially launched its latest device dubbed as the Xiaomi Redmi 4X smartphone in China. The new device starts at 699 Yuan ($102) for the 2GB + 16GB variant and goes up to 899 Yuan ($131) for the 3GB + 32GB version.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4X smartphone features a smooth metallic body and a curved design around the corners. It has a 5-inch High Definition display screen with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels, along with 2.5D glass on top of it. The device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor clocked at a speed of 1.4GHz.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4X smartphone will be available in two variant models - 2GB of RAM + 16GB ROM and 3GB of RAM + 32GB. Both these models are expandable up to 128GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. The phone sports a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, and LED flash support. On the front is a 5-megapixel front sensor with f/2.2 aperture.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4X smartphone runs on the company's MIUI 8 user interface, which is based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system. Fueling the device is a 4,100 mAh capacity battery inside. Other features the device offers include hybrid dual-SIM, 4G LTE network, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. The phone measures body dimensions of 139.2 mm x 69.6 mm x 8.6 mm and weighs around 150 grams.
