Vivo Y51L Smartphone Receives a Price cut in India

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has announced that its latest device dubbed as the Vivo Y51L gets a Rs. 2,990 ($44.80) price cut in India. The Vivo Y51L was initially priced at Rs. 11,980 ($179.51), and now sells for Rs. 8,990 ($134.71).
In terms of the specifications, the Vivo Y51L smartphone features a 5-inch qHD IPS display screen with 960 pixels by 540 pixels resolution. The display panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection flaunts on top. Under the hood, the handheld device is powered a Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor clocked at a speed of 1.2GHz.

The Vivo Y51L smartphone comes with 2GB of RAM onboard and Adreno 306 GPU for the graphics. It has a 16GB of in-built storage, which can be further expandable up to a huge 128GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. On the camera side, the Vivo Y51L sports an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash support and a 5-megapixel front sensor.
The Vivo Y51L runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) operating system out of the box, which is coupled with Funtouch OS user interface laid on top of it. Fueling the handset is a Li-Po 2,350 mAh capacity battery inside. Other features the Vivo Y51L offers include dual SIM dual standby support, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, 4G LTE network support, Wi-Fi, GPS with A-GPS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, GLONASS, USB OTG, and Micro-USB.
The Vivo Y51L measures body dimensions of 143.8 mm x 71.7 mm x 7.52 mm and weighs around 157 grams. It will be available in White and Black color options.
