Apple fans eagerly await the arrival of the iOS 8, which could address their old complaints and bring more streamlined use of their devices.
Ahead of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus release is the roll-out of the new iOS 8 on Sept. 17. The launch is expected to come at 10:00 a.m. in Cupertino (6:00 P.M. BST and 1:00 P.M. EST).

The Apple iOS 8 software features updated time-lapse videos and photo editing tools, an Interactive Notification tool and location and sounds features in the Messages app.
The software's design is similar to the iOS 7 with flat menus and icons. The Photos app search function is improved, making it easy to find pictures based on dates, album names or locations.
Apple also mentioned the QuickType, saying iOS 8 offers the biggest changes on the keyboard since the first iPhone. The predictive typing is more personalized and smarter by taking context into account intelligently, like which app the user is typing and who the recipient is. It also suggests favorite phrases based on history.
Users can also install another keyboard now. Apple clearly tried to solve its autocorrect issue.
The Messages app now allows users to capture sounds and send it in conversations such as music, ambient sounds and voice notes. It also takes on Whatsapp by allowing users to start group conversations, send videos and enable a Do Not Disturb mode to hide group notifications for later.
They can send locations to friends and multiple videos and photos from the Camera Roll.
The HealthKit app provides a dashboard that gathers personal fitness and health information on devices, including medical histories, diet and fitness information. According to Apple, all Apple devices are talking to each other now. A user can answer a call on a Mac, start a email on a device and finish it off on another.
To avoid bugs and issues, users are encouraged to install the next corrective patch deployment. For Jailbreakers, the iOS 8 will kill their jailbreak and they'll have to wait for the next Pangu or Evasion unlocking tool.
