Winless team Yanbian Funde FC (0-1-1, 1 point) and undefeated squad Guangzhou R&F FC (2-0-0, 6 points) are set to face one another in a 2017 Chinese Super League season match at the Yanji Nationwide Fitness Centre Stadium on Saturday, April 1.

Yanbian Funde, one of last season's newly-promoted sides, has successfully remained in the China top-flight this term after finishing ninth in last year's standings. Head coach Park Tae-ha's squad has struggled in starting the current season beginning with a goalless draw versus Chongqing Lifan in their season-opener.

The team then succumbed to a 0-2 loss to powerhouse team Shanghai SIPG on the road at the Shanghai Stadium in their second game on March 10 to stay winless this season, as per the South China Morning Post.

The Baekdu Tiger failed to score a goal for the second straight game while allowing two from the Red Eagles, courtesy of local SIPG players Lu Wenjun and Wu Lei in the 42nd and 57th minutes respectively.

Meanwhile, Guangzhou R&F is on a roll, winning their first two games this term. The team blanked newly-promoted side Tianjin Quanjian, 2-0, in their season opener to show their vaunted goalscoring form.

The Blue Lions then nipped Changchun Yatai, 1-0, in their second game held at the Guangdong Provincial People's Stadium on March 12, Xinhuanet reported. Along with SIPG and Shandong Luneng, head coach Dragan Stojkovic's side is now one of only three teams with 2-0 records on top of the league table.

Brazilian midfielder Junior Urso netted the lone goal of the match in the 70th minute with the assist coming from teammate Lu Lin.

The predicted result is a 2-0 win by Guangzhou R&F.
