Gionee M6S Plus Smartphone Receives TENAA Certification

Gionee's upcoming device dubbed as the Gionee M6S Plus smartphone has been certified by China's telecommunication certification authority (TENAA). The Gionee M6S Plus is said to feature a gigantic 6-inch Full HD display screen and 6GB of RAM. The phone is listed in two colors - White and Gold.

The Gionee M6S Plus smartphone is made out of metallic body design. The volume down, volume up, and power buttons are located on the right side of the device. It has a fingerprint scanner on the home key, while that button is flanked by the overview and back capacitive buttons.
According to the TENAA listing, the Gionee M6S Plus smartphone features a 6-inch Full HD AMOLED display screen with 1920 pixels by 1080 pixels resolution and 2.5D curved glass panel. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core processor (either MediaTek's mid-range offerings or Qualcomm's Snapdragon 600-series chips) clocked at 2GHz. As mentioned earlier, the device has a 6GB of RAM onboard.
The Gionee M6S Plus comes equipped with a built-in 64GB internal memory storage, which can be further expandable up to 128GB via a dedicated microSD card. The phone runs on the Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box, which comes with a pre-installed Gionee's custom user interface. The phone is backed by a non-removable 6,020 mAh capacity battery.
On the camera department, the Gionee M6S smartphone flaunts a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera and an 8-megapixel front sensor for selfies. On the back of the phone, rear-facing camera is supported by a dual-LED and dual-tone flash.
Other features the Gionee M6S Plus smartphone offers include Dual SIM, Wi-Fi (802.11 ac/a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, 4G VoLTE, GPS, a microUSB port, Gravity sensor, and light sensor. The handset measures a body dimension of 163 mm × 80.8 mm × 8.2 mm and weighs around 212 grams.
