Gionee M6S Plus Smartphone to be Unveiled in China on April 24

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee is set to launch its newest device called the Gionee M6S Plus in China on April 24. This information has been confirmed by the image of an alleged press invitation that surfaced online.
The upcoming Gionee M6S Plus smartphone will feature a massive 6-inch Full HD AMOLED display screen with a resolution of 1920 pixels by 1080 pixels and 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood, the device is powered by an unnamed octa-core processor (expected to be Helio P20 chipset) clocked at a speed of 2GHz.

The Gionee M6S Plus smartphone will come with 6GB of RAM onboard and 64GB of internal memory storage, which can be further expandable up to 128GB with a dedicated microSD card slot. On the camera front, the M6S Plus will sport a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera with dual-tone LED flash support and an 8-megapixel front sensor for selfies and video chats.
The Gionee M6S Plus smartphone runs on the Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box, which is coupled with Gionee's latest customized Amigo OS user interface. The handset is fueled by a massive non-removable 6020 mAh capacity battery and will also house a fingerprint scanner, which is placed on its back panel.
Other features the Gionee M6S Plus offers include Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi (802.11 ac/a/b/g/n), a microUSB port, and GPS. Sensors on the phone are Gravity sensor and light sensor. The handset will measure a body dimension of 163 mm × 80.8 mm × 8.2 mm and will weigh around 212 grams. The will be available in two colors - White and Gold.
