A 911 call from Florida man Donald Spirit released on Tuesday indicated how he calmly admitted to killing his daughter and six grandchildren, adding that he would await the arrival of authorities before shooting himself.
Over a 911 emergency call, the 51-year-old mass murderer confirmed that he had just shot his daughter and his grandchildren, including a baby, Thursday last week.

Trying to buy time for the authorities to arrive on scene, the 911 operator probed into the details of the incident during the emergency call Spirit made via his mobile phone.
"Yes, ma'am. I just shot my daughter and shot all my grandkids. And I'll be sitting on my steps and when you get here I'm going to shoot myself," he stated claiming that one of his victims is an infant.
When asked what kind of gun he had, Spirit started to sound angry and noted that it did not matter since he would have killed himself upon the arrival of the police.
Before the call recording was cut off, the emergency dispatcher was heard to be whispering to someone about needing help.
As authorities arrived on scene, they had a brief verbal exchange with Spirit before he shot himself using a .45 caliber handgun.
Six children were found dead inside the mobile home while Spirit and his daughter, identified as 28-year-old Sarah Spirit, were located in different areas of the house.
The children were later identified to be 11-year-old Kaleb Kuhlmann, 9-year-old Kylie Kuhlmann, 8-year-old Johnathon Kuhlmann, 5-year-old Destiny Stewart, 4-year-old Brandon Stewart and Alanna Stewart, a three-month-old infant.
According to the Associated Press, the Spirit family had been known in the northern Florida town of Bell for having several run-ins with the law.
Two weeks before the shooting, a concerned neighbor called a child abuse hotline to report that adults in the mobile home might have been using drugs in front of the children, opening a probe on a possible substance abuse involving Spirit's daughter.
According to her father, Sarah Spirit had tested positive for drugs upon her arrest and was arrested for violating probation on August 26.
Meanwhile, Donald Spirit had been described in reports as a felon as he had served time after inadvertently shooting his son on a hunting trip.
In 2008, police records indicated that Sarah had filed a complaint against her father for allegedly beating her while she was 36 weeks pregnant.
