Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Survives Torture and Drop Tests

Samsung has demonstrated how unlikely it is to bend the Galaxy Note 4 under pressure, and now the company is showing the device's resistance with different surfaces. The promotional video showed the Galaxy Note 4 being dropped on floors made of granite with rough surfaces, plunges, smooth metal, hard metal impact from different levels and tumble tests.

Samsung appears to be serious in improving its devices to survive common drops and it can be seen with the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Alpha. Both devices have four bumps on each side of their frames, allowing the device to absorb shocks from drops better. According to reports, the Note 4 seems to be constructed very well.
If the promotional video is not contrived, the premium and expensive looking silicon appears to be better in construction and handling than other smartphones' build to withstand common tortures. And as such, Samsung did not have to destroy too many units during the tests then.
The Galaxy Note 4's major competitor is the Apple iPhone 6 Plus which was the subject of controversy in the last couple of days following its release. A few videos circulated on the Internet showing Apple's largest iPhone with its elegant aluminum body being fragile and bent with minimal pressure.
Apple defended its product by saying that only nine users encountered the problem and said that media is simply blowing it out of proportion. After a few days of the Galaxy Note 4's release, it was also caught in the "Gapgate" issue, showing a huge gap on the device that could possibly make the device open to dust and water.
