The Federal Bureau of Prisons has come to the decision that "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice will be serving her 15-month prison sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut.
The said prison is the one featured on the hit series "Orange is the New Black" and is considered as one of the worst minimum-security camps for women in the United States. It currently houses around 218 inmates, with another 800 inmates held at a low-security prison next door.

Giudice had requested that she spend the majority of her term at a halfway house so she could work and visit home during the weekends.
However, during a conference call with Giudice and her lawyer, U.S. District Court Judge Esther Salas said that she won't be recommending the star's request, saying that the said issue was never raised in court. Salas did note that even if the request was made in court, she would not have recommended it anyway.
Assistant U.S. attorneys Rachael Honig and Jonathan Romankow opposed Giudice's request, stating, "The Court made detailed, express findings on the record about the need to sentence defendant to jail...To amend the judgment now to include a recommendation of 12 months in a halfway house would be to undercut all of these findings completely."
Giudice's attorney, Stacy Ann Biancamano, said that Giudice "really wasn't fully understanding of how the sentencing process works".
The Bureau of Prisons will be the body that will be ultimately deciding whether or not Giudice can spend most of her jail time in a halfway house.
Teresa is set to go to prison on Jan 5, 2015. After her prison term ends, her husband Joe, whom she has four daughters with, will begin his 41-month sentence. The reality TV couple was charged and found guilty of fraud.
