Motorola said the Moto G 2013 is the best-selling smartphone they've made but it's now been replaced by the new Moto G 2014 with upgraded specs.

Both the Moto G 2014 and the Lumia 730 are powered by Snapdragon 400 SoC with a Cortex A7 quad-core chip clocked at 1.2 GHz. Both smartphones also have Adreno 305 graphics and 1 GB of RAM.

The Lumia 730 offers an 8 GB in-built storage with up to 128 GB of external storage support. Microsoft also provides 15 GB of OneDrive cloud storage for Nokia Lumia 730 users.

Meanwhile, the Moto G offers 8 GB and 16 GB storage options. It also has an external storage support of up to 32 GB. Google Drive provides 50 GB of free cloud storage for Moto G 2014 owners.

The 4.7-inch Lumia 730 display features OLED technology with 720 x 1280 pixels and 316 ppi pixel density. On the other hand, the Moto G comes with a 5.0-inch IPS LCD display with 720 x 1280 pixels and 294 ppi pixel density.

The Moto G 2014 runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat upgradable to Android 5.0 L when it's released in the next few weeks while the Lumia 730 runs Windows Phone 8.1.

The Moto G sports an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash, autofocus, 720p video recording and a 2 MP front camera. Meanwhile, the Lumia 730 features a 6.7 MP rear camera with Carl Zeiss optics, LED flash, autofocus, 1080p video capture and a 5 MP front camera.

The Moto G comes with a non-removable 2070 mAh battery while the Nokia Lumia 730 has a removable 2200 mAh battery.
