Nokia Lumia 530 vs. Nokia X2: Specs, Features, Price

The Nokia X2 was unveiled in June and the smartphone was recently released in select markets. Meanwhile, the Nokia Lumia 530 is rumored to be out in August. Here is a comparison of the Nokia Lumia 530 and the Nokia X2.

It appears that the Nokia X2 has a larger display size with a 4.3-inch IPS LCD ClearBlack screen with 480 x 800 pixels and 217 ppi. Its display is a scratch-resistant glass. On the other hand, the Lumia 530 has a 4-inch TFT display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution and 245 ppi. The Nokia X2 weighs 150 grams and is 121.7 x 68.3 x 11.1 mm in size. The Lumia 530 is lighter with a weight of 129 grams and a dimension of 119.7 x 62.3 x 11.7 mm.

The Nokia X2 has a dual core 1.2 GHz Cortex A7 processor on a Qualcomm MSM8210 Snapdragon 200 chipset, using Adreno 302 GPU. The Lumia 530 is also powered by a quad core 1.2 GHz processor. The Nokia X2 has a bigger RAM at 1 GB and 4 GB of ROM expandable to 32 GB and running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The Lumia 530 has 512 MB of RAM with an internal memory of 4 GB and microSD support, allowing for up to 128 GB of expansion. The Lumia 530 comes with Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 OS.

Both the Nokia X2 and Lumia 530 feature a 5 megapixel rear snapper but the X2 has an LED flash while the Lumia 530 does not. The Nokia X2 has a VGA front camera while the Lumia 530 does not have a secondary camera. The Nokia Lumia 530 has an inferior Li-Ion 1430 mAh battery unit whil the X2 has a Li-Ion 1800 mAh battery unit. The X2 is a bit more expensive at $135 while the Lumia 530 costs about $118.
