Following rumors that a re-mastered version of the "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" game would be coming to Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles, Rockstar has announced a "San Andreas Anniversary Weekend" for GTA V gamers set for October 24 to 26.
Part of the Anniversary Weekend, Rockstar will be implementing a limited time Featured Playlist that consists of some "San Andreas Throwback Jobs" for GTA V online gamers.

For simply playing the featured playlist, gamers will receive double the amount of money and RP when completing any San Andreas job, regardless of whether the gamer wins or loses.
In addition to the Featured Playlist, Rockstar has also added some crate drops that contain exclusive content.
For those who aren't aware of crate drops, it's a feature in online gameplay where a crate full of items and goodies is dropped via aircraft. Once the gamer travels to the crate and kills the group of people trying to protect it, the gamer then receives everything in the crate.
According to reports, crate drops during the San Andreas Anniversary Weekend will consist of exclusive weaponry, more GTA cash and exclusive clothing. Details on weaponry is currently unknown, but the clothing will consist of t-shirts of classic radio stations from San Andreas including Bounce FM, K-DST, K-JAH and K-Rose.
Rockstar will also release a number of in-game discounts. GTA V online gamers will be receiving a 50 percent discount on accessories including all green clothing items, BMX bikes, bandanas and more. Additionally, in honor of San Andreas' low-riders, there will be a 25 percent discount on suspension vehicle mods.
GTA fans will even have the opportunity to win real-life San Andreas themed items including a basketball, 10th anniversary tees, poker set, and much more. Called the San Andreas Snapmatic Contest, GTA gamers who capture the best Snapmatic shots paying homage to San Andreas will win one of those items.
