Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul's (R) political strategists and advisers will convene for eight days after the midterm elections in Washington to layout the blueprint of his 2016 Republican presidential nomination.
Paul's chief political strategist, Doug Stafford, is setting up an eight-day meeting beginning Nov. 12 to make an early assessment of his White House bid, said a report published by the National Journal.

Stafford has been quietly gathering the people who would figure prominently in Paul's future campaigns, according to the report.
Sen. Paul has repeatedly indicated that he will announce his bid for presidency early next year.
The members of "Team Rand," as Stafford has been keen to call it at times, were apparently not completely informed of the agenda of the meetings or who composes the group.
However, as one unnamed invitee puts it, "This is the come-to-Jesus before the planned launch" of Paul's potential presidential run.
The senator's spokesman, Sergio Gor, confirmed the said meeting to Kentucky-based newspaper The Courier-Journal, but declined to offer further details.
Unlike potential presidential opponents like former secretary of state Hillary Clinton (D) and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) who insisted they will announce their decisions next year, Paul made very little effort to keep his plan of running for the office a secret.
He has been crisscrossing the country, visiting key primary states, including New Hampshire and Iowa.
He has also been shoring up support for Republicans running for the midterm elections and has reportedly attended rallies in which he is the main attraction.
Last Thursday, Paul was in New York where he outlined his national security and foreign policy principles to the think-tanks at the Center for the National Interest.
In his recent interview with The New Yorker, Stafford said unless Kelley Ashby, Paul's wife, tells him not to run for presidency, the Republican is running.
