"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is steadily trucking along toward its release date on February 24, and CD Projekt Red wants everyone to be excited.
After uploading 35 minutes of uncut gameplay content for fans, the publisher has now released a cinematic to show off the main quest.

The cinematic, named "The Trail" shows three minutes of Geralt of Rivia and his mentor Vesemir tracking down Geralt's long-lost love, Yennefer of Vengerberg. Yennefer is a sorceress that is fleeing from something, while getting caught up in all different conflicts across the world.
From what is known of the story so far, the main quest involves Geralt working for information on Yennefer. The 35-minute gameplay preview showed some of these side-quests to gain information, like killing the Harpies and bringing them back to a local town.
CD Projekt Red is working on a huge world for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt", said to be 20 percent bigger than Skyrim and full of objectives, missions and enemies. The world is also active and will change depending on what the player does or doesn't do, and can lead to vast consequences.
There have been a few failures on the triple-A front in 2014 - "Watch Dogs," "Titanfall" and "Destiny" all received either mediocre reviews or a lackluster amount of gamers after a few weeks, perhaps showing cracks in the usual formula.
In order to jump past this problem, CD Projekt Red is hoping their commitment to PC owners, making their game as powerful as possible on the new machines and stepping into the next-generation of consoles will be enough to attract millions of gamers.
