Apple To Fold Beats Music Into iTunes

Apple is looking to fold its recently acquired Beats Music service into iTunes in a move designed to boost dwindling sales of its music service. The new streaming service will be front and center on Apple's iTunes app, giving users an alternative to Spotify and Rdio.
iTunes Radio has not been as successful as Apple hoped, with the free radio streaming service not gaining any advantage of Pandora and other music services. Apple will reportedly continue iTunes Radio alongside Beats Music, but the latter will have a cost-per-month.

Reports are conflicted on what exactly will happen to Beats Music - some say it will turn into an iTunes brand with the same technology and record contracts. Others say it will remain Beats Music on the iTunes app.
iTunes music sales have been dropping ever since Spotify and other services started becoming popular. The $10 per month streaming solution costs less for people who enjoy listening to a lot of popular tracks, and Apple is aware of this disparity.
Even though some musicians claim Spotify is cheating them out of money, most popular artists have started adding their music on Spotify, Beats Music and other streaming solutions. Apple is looking to capitalize on this new trend with their 400 million iTunes accounts, which will now work with Beats Music.
Apple reportedly paid $500 million for Beats Music and $2.5 billion for Beats Electronics. Apple recently kicked Bose out of the Apple Stores, after Bose forced all Beats headphones out of the NFL and fined 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick $10,000 for wearing the headphones at a press conference.
This new Beats Music on iTunes service will reportedly roll out sometime in 2015. Apple might announce it at WWDC 2015, normally held in June.
