Authorities said there is no suspect in the shooting of the adult male and female, whose identities are yet to be verified.

Witnesses reportedly heard several gun shots, according to CBS.

An employee of Bliss Boutique called in at around 2 p.m. to report the incident and had requested for the SWAT and the Crisis Negotiations Team to rush to the boutique located at the 100 block of Avenida Del Mar.

About 40 minutes after the incident was reported, members of the Critical Incident Response Team also responded to the crime scene and found the two bodies and a hand gun.

Although the bodies have yet to be officially identified by the coroner, several friends and witnesses said the deceased woman was the owner of the boutique, Cindy Dillard, while the man, who was the alleged shooter, was her husband.

One of the witnesses, flower shop owner Loren Boyett, said he was arranging his shop's window display when he heard a sudden commotion outside and saw a woman running away from the boutique while crying.

Boyett recounted the incident, saying that a deputy was ordering a suspect to "put his hands up and come out of the store", while other officers were urging people to take refuge in neighboring stores.

According to him, people who took shelter in his shop compressed themselves in the display window to get a better view of the scene unfolding in front of them.

Boyett said the people were texting and videotaping the incident as members of the SWAT team entered the boutique.
