Childhood pals of "Twilight" leading lady Kristen Stewart is said to no longer be interested in maintaining a friendship with her. A source shared that the reason for their disinterest is because the actress has allegedly developed an "inflated ego".

Pals are said to be "dropping like flies" because they could no longer stand Stewart's arrogance, which they claim began when she started dating her British co-star Robert Pattinson in 2008.

According to the source, "Kristen doesn't even resemble the person that we knew from before she was with Rob. She used to be a very low-key, cool girl."

Stewart was said to have gotten so arrogant that she believed that her longtime friends only wanted to hang out with her because she was famous and, because her relationship with Pattinson was the talk of Hollywood at that time.

Stewart and Pattinson split in 2012 following the public revelation of Stewart's affair with her married "Snow White and the Huntsman" director, Rupert Sanders.

Meanwhile, the 24-year old actress has recently stated that she wants to take a break from acting so she can concentrate on other creative endeavors.

Last week, Stewart announced, "I'm taking some time off because I've been working for two years. I'm an actor and that's my art form, and because I started that so young, I've always felt intimidated and insufficient when I think about other forms of art I want to create."

She shared that she is planning to take a lot of time off and, is planning to use that time to live in a workspace in downtown Los Angeles to create her own artwork, including a short film that is currently in the works.

When she shared the news, she said she had only made the decision to take a break a few weeks prior.
