Both the Lumia 730 and Aquos Crystal are powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Cortex-A7 processor which is clocked at 1.2 GHz. The Lumia 730 has 1 GB of RAM while the Aquos Crystal has 1.5 GB. The Nokia handset runs on Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 while the Sharp handset runs on stock Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Both smartphones are packed with 8 GB of internal memory and microSD card slot support for up 128 GB of expansion.

The Nokia Lumia 730 has a 4.7-inch OLED display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution and 316 ppi pixel density. Meanwhile, the Sharp Aquos Crystal comes with a 5-inch TFT display with the same screen resolution and 294 ppi. The Aquos Crystal features an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1.2 megapixel front camera while the Lumia 730 has a 6.7 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and Carl Zeiss lens and a 5 megapixel front one. The Sharp Aquos Crystal comes with a Li-Ion 2040 mAh battery unit while the Nokia Lumia 730 has a Li-Ion 2200 mAh one.

The 8 GB dual-SIM Nokia Lumia 730 costs $240 while the 8 GB 4G LTE Sharp Aquos Crystal is priced at $149.99.
