(Photo : Reuters) For many market and tech experts, the PlayStation 4 is the runaway winner this year in terms of market share. However, Microsoft announced on Wednesday that is it offering $50 off on the Xbox One which can turn the tide into its favor during the holiday season.
Black Friday is exactly three weeks away as most retailers are moving it a day earlier this year to Thanksgiving. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 new-gen gaming consoles are sure to be big holiday-hitters this year, and some retailers have already released some early deals.

Black Friday ads from Dell have been leaked showing deals for both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, which will reportedly begin at 6 p.m. ET on Thanksgiving, Nov. 27. Dells' leaked ads can be seen at TheBlackFriday.com website.
The PlayStation 4 deal is a bundle that includes the remastered versions of "Grand Theft Auto 5" and the "Last of Us" video games with a brand new PS4 console. The bundle is priced at $399.99, which if bought separately would normally cost an extra $120.
The Xbox One deal comes with the brand new console and games including "Assassins Creed: Unity" and "Black Flag" for $329.99, which is normally priced at $399.99. This bundle deal is actually available right now, but an additional $29.99 will be taken off the price once the rest of Black Friday deals are available putting it at an evn $300.
Sam's Club also currently has a white "Destiny" themed PlayStation 4 bundle for only $399, but each store location reportedly only has three to six of these bundles available. It's likely Sam's Club offers more savings once Black Friday comes around to compete with other retailers.
In addition to new-gen console deals, Best Buy and Target will be offering Black Friday sales on games. Best Buy is offering a "Buy One Get one Half Off" deal for Nintendo 3DS games. However, Target is taking it much further with their "Buy Two Get One Free" deal on all games for all consoles starting Nov. 9.
Wal-Mart usually beats competing retailers with their gaming prices this time of year, so it's going to be interesting to see how their Black Friday deals stack up against the rest of the competition.
