The Queen Latifah Show Canceled After Two Seasons, Host Thanks Her Fans and Crew

Queen Latifah's talk show is nearing its end. The show is currently in its second season and is to be ending in March, with the production carrying on until the end of 2014.

Latifah thanked her fans and the show's crew by posting a message on her official Facebook page, just hours after TMZ broke the news of the cancellation.

"Your dedication and sacrifice was crucial to the entire show, and in the face of extreme challenges you displayed. 'True Grit'! Thank you for all your efforts in getting The Queen Latifah Show up and running, I also thank you for displaying such a strong work ethic." The message continued with Latifah, saying "Your family, partners, staff and crew showed up with you every step of the way, you should be very proud of that because not everyone can say the same. You can also say that you have been a blessing to and been blessed by the guests who came to the show, as well as the audience. We have truly changed peoples lives for the better. So, stay positive and stay strong, and most importantly stay open. There is so much more that God has in store for each and every one of us."

She also ended her letter with an inspiring and positive note for her and her crew.

"This letter is not just for me, it is also for the whole staff and crew and everyone who were by my side during this incredible journey of mine. The most important thing in life is that, when you wake up each and every single day, you take chances. No matter what the outcome is, just believe in yourself and fly."

The Queen Latifah show debuted on September 16, 2013 and was produced by the superstar duo, Will and Jada Smith
