(Photo : Motorola) In an effort to bring more buyers to the table, Motorola has announced a $140 price slash on the Moto X, starting on Cyber Monday.
Motorola will participate in the Cyber Monday sales extravaganza by dropping the price of the Moto X (2nd Gen) by $140.
The deal will start on Cyber Monday (December 1) and will be limited to the stock available. It will be on a first-come, first-served basis system, and users should expect some budging in the digital queue.

Unlike other smartphone makers who stick to a strict price tag, Motorola enjoys adding flash discounts to up the sales for the Moto X. Previous deals have knocked the price by more than $200.
The Moto X might be one of the most undervalued phones - in terms of sales - on the market in 2014. Sony's Xperia Z3 might battle for the crown. Both have excellent internals and externals, but have been rejected by most customers in favor of Apple or Samsung.
Not only is Motorola spicing things up with the Moto Maker tool - allowing users to change the design of the Moto X - but it also works on a quick schedule to get the latest Android updates out to everyone.
The Moto X was one of the first to receive the Android Lollipop update, before some GPE devices. Motorola has pushed maximum update efficiency, by essentially making a skinless version of Android with a few additional services.
Moto X's starting price is now $359.99, dropped from $499.99. The smartphone has always been cheaper than the alternatives from Apple and Samsung, keeping Motorola's fanbase loyal to the new design and ideas.
Verizon Wireless customers can also get an on-contract deal for $0.01, $199 off the contract price. That's an excellent deal for anyone who is a Verizon customer who wants one of the best smartphones in 2014.
Motorola should be offering the update in price to other regions, including the U.K. and other European countries.
