On Wednesday, Hong Kong singer G.E.M. Gloria Tang attended the unveiling ceremony for her wax doppelganger in Hong Kong's Madame Tussauds. G.E.M. is the youngest artist who has a wax statue in the Madame Tussauds.

Talking about the process of making the wax, G.E.M. admires the professional wax makers who take good care of even hair and each nail. She also said it was difficult to cooperate with the staff to stand for five hours without food and drinks. She also said it was very boring that she could not move and go to restroom during the process.

Why she would choose the backless dress? "This is my first formal concert tour. So far, it (the dress) has been with me for 35 sessions of the tour. It is really meaningful to me." G.E.M. explained that this dress was from her "X.X.X. Live" concert tour.

G.E.M. wore the same dress with her wax at that day. She gave a variety of poses and showed her beautiful back to the cameras. Her fans complained that they could not distinguish G.E.M. from the wax.

As the youngest artist in the Madame Tussauds, G.E.M. felt excited and honored. "This year, I did 35 sessions of my concert tour and I learnt a lot. The wax has a great memorable meaning." Said G.E.M.

She also said humorously, "Actually I think I am more beautiful than her and healthier than her because she could not keep fit anymore."

G.E.M. disclosed her next plan. "I am actually going to the U.S. soon to prepare next year's new album. I call the new album light. It gives me more inspirations and has my work with more dimensions."

G.E.M. posted the group picture of her wax and herself on Weibo after the ceremony. In the picture, G.E.M. has same dress, same hairstyle, and even same smile with the wax. They look just like twins.
