Hong Kong Singers Andy Hui and Sammi Cheng may have gotten married in Bali last year as reported but never admitted by the two.
The latest clue on the real status of their relationship came from a note attached to a basket of flowers that Hui sent to Cheng's father for his calligraphy exhibition. In the note, Hui had called Cheng's father "Daddy".

Cheng's father held his calligraphy exhibition in Hong Kong recently. Hui sent a basket of flowers as the "son-in-law" and closely called Cheng's father "Daddy" in the note. It seems to have their husband and wife relationship to go public.
Hui attended an event on December 8 and was intercepted by media. Hui was asked about the basket of father-in-law. "It is a big thing to hold a calligraphy exhibition for an elder. Because I have no time to attend, I asked Sammi Cheng to send flowers on behalf of me. I don't know what she wrote. This is great as well," Hui answered with smiles. He stated that he knew the calligraphy exhibition a half year ago.
In terms of the title to Cheng's father, Hui said frankly, "Call Daddy as they do".
Whether Hui has married with Cheng? Hui answered the question with dexterity, "It's ok. It's ok that only two of us know. It's ok as long as we are happy."
Hui was asked how to celebrate their upcoming one year anniversary. "Nothing to celebrate," said Hui. They look like an old married couple.
Actually, it is said that Hui proposed for marriage to Cheng in 2013. They had a wedding party in Bali in November 2013. However, Cheng said firmly that they have not yet registered to be official husband and wife because the important thing is not the form but their relationship.
