Rex Ryan and the New York Jets got their first win on the road against the Tennessee Titans (16-11) in the 2014-2015 National Football League (NFL) season. However, their first win was marked with a brawl with players on both teams.
During the third quarter, Titans defensive end Jurrell Casey started talking to Jets quarterback Geno Smith during a replay review and a TV timeout. Casey swung at Smith and struck him straight on the head. This started a brawl in the third quarter with players from all over getting in on the action.

Jets right tackled Breno Giacomini and right guard Willie Colon came to Smith's defense, and they ended up on the bottom of a pile at midfield.
Center Nick Mangold, who was already on the sideline with his helmet off, ran back on to the field and joined the action. Casey, on the other hand, was livid and had to be restrained by coaches and teammates.
When the viewers at home tuned back on to the game, what they saw was 30 players in the middle of the field, shoving, and trash talking to one other.
While it was quite a sight and a big "no-no" in any sport, the incident did not result in any player ejection. Only one penalty was called on the play to Casey --- a personal foul. He remained in the game.
The Titans have now lost eight straight games and 11 of 12 in their worst skid since 1994 when they were still based in Houston.
Jets quarterback Geno Smith threw for 179 yards and a touchdown.
The Jets were trailing, 11-10, when Chris Johnson ran 37 yards to the Titans' 4-yard line. Chris Ivory completed a touchdown by going wide left. The Jets opted for the 2-point conversion and won the game.
This was the third game that the Jets have won.
