European authorities have convicted two hackers on the presumption they work for Lizard Squad.
Thames Valley Police in England have arrested 22-year old Vinnie Omari, a suspect in the ongoing Lizard Squad investigation, on suspicion of online fraud.
The U.K. police were granted a search warrant on Omari's phones, computers, email accounts, and any other products, relating to the attacks to the PlayStation Network (PSN) and Xbox Live (XBL) by Lizard Squad on Christmas Day.

In a statement to The Daily Dot, Omari claims the authorities took "everything" from his home connected to his online life, including an Xbox One, phone, laptop and USB sticks. The U.K. forensics team will search the systems to find any connection to Lizard Squad.
The original charge is PayPal theft, but the search warrant shows a connection to Lizard Squad. It is unclear if Omari is the person controlling Lizard Squad's Twitter account.
The FBI is also investigating another suspect, Julius Kivimäki, a 17-year old Finnish hacker responsible for stealing 3,000 credit cards in 2013. Kivimäki reportedly gave an interview with the BBC on the Lizard Squad with Omari a few weeks ago.
The two hackers have been suspected previously for online attacks, and might not be connected to Lizard Squad, but various agencies worldwide are looking at the two young hackers as prime candidates.
Lizard Squad said it had members all across the world, able to fight its cause. For the time being, the group have been using DDoS methods with the help of botnets, to attack gaming platforms, putting them offline for a few hours.
The two suspects might be charged for various attacks, and could face years in prison. It is still not clear how many members of Lizard Squad actively work to attack these gaming platforms, but the amount of traffic hitting the servers indicates a rather robust team.
