Over and over again, Hollywood exes, Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay front man, Chris Martin prove that it's possible to stay cool amid the gossip and intrigue of showbiz.

The two, who called their 10 year relationship quits in what the Goop founder described as a "conscious uncoupling" are now seeing other people, with Martin being linked to one of the most high profile celebrities of the moment, Jennifer Lawrence.

Paltrow, who hasn't really put her two cents into the coupling, has become the subject of rumors regarding the match, mostly that the Shakespeare In Love star wasn't pleased with the idea that her rock star ex was hooking up the Hunger Games actress.

The actress was then confronted about it in a recent interview, where she finally shut down rumors about her dislike for Lawrence-

"Who says I don't approve of Jennifer Lawrence?" she asked. "I respect him as the father of my children...It's his decision...He wouldn't be with someone who isn't great."

She also adds that she has a very good relationship with Martin, revealing that they do in fact have a strong friendship.

"We have kids, we're always going to be a family," she says, adding that their decision to separate, or to, as she called it, "consciously uncouple" was because they wanted to find and maintain the good in their history and use it to carve out a drama free future as they try to become co-parents for their children.

"We laugh and we have fun but there are times when it's really difficult. Things happen and you're like, I'm sure he doesn't want to hang out with me and I don't want to hang out with him but for the sake of the kids, you do it. But you also don't do it all tense. You say, 'I really want to find the love for you and I want to forgive you and I want you to forgive me and let's have some fun as a family."
