Marvel and Samsung revealed their collaboration in mid-2014 and the partnership will let the latter to show its new devices with marvel content.

The agreement also allows Samsung to add tech concepts to the films including the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron and other soon to be released Marvel movies. The featured devices on the upcoming movie were shown at the CES 2015 event in Las Vegas such as the Galaxy Note Edge and other upcoming devices. According to reports, Samsung created devices for Tony Stark including a smartwatch and a smartphone with futuristic features.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Android 5.0 Lollipop update is said to roll out in 2015. Currently, the Samsung Galaxy S5 is the latest major smartphone to get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. According to reports, the Note Edge will get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update in February 2015 and the unlocked version will first receive it. Carrier editions will soon follow. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Alpha will start receiving the latest Android build in March.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge smartphone included an upgraded fingerprint scanner version which was an introduced feature on the Galaxy S5 early in 2014. The Galaxy Alpha device also has a fingerprint scanner feature but Galaxy Note Edge has a couple of new software features with the fingerprint scanner as well.

The Galaxy Note Edge's sensor system has the Synaptics' Natural ID ssolution which divides the fingerprint scanner in two parts. The first part is at the home button where it reads the bottom part of the user's fingerprint. The second part reads the fingerprint at the screen's bottom part. with UHD OLED televisions, home appliances and a Google Glass competition at the IFA 2014.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a 16 MP rear camera, Samsung Exynos 5433 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage. The device is dust and water proof with an ultraviolet sensor, iris scanner and a virtual reality headset named Samsung Gear VR. Samsung's S Pen stylus is also included in the Note Edge.
