The handset sports a 5.25-inch IPS LCD display with 720 x 1,280 pixels screen resolution and 282 ppi pixel density. It sports a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Cortex-A53 processor which is clocked at 1.2 GHz and 1.5 GB of RAM.

The Galaxy Grand Max will run on Android 4.4.4 KitKat with LTE Cat 4 Support. It also features 16 GB of in-built storage and microSD card support which can be expanded up to 64 GB. The Galaxy Max also has a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5 MP front one. The device features a 120 degree wide angle lens, geo-tagging, HDR, face and smile detection and panorama support. It comes with 2,500 mAh battery capacity with LTE connectivity support.

Meanwhile, Samsung may also release the Galaxy S6 earlier than people expected and as early as now, a new concept video already shows off its full-metal body and killer specs to get the fans even more excited.

Samsung usually unveils its upcoming flagship handset at the Mobile World Congress in March and releases the device for sale in April but for the Galaxy S6, it is speculated that the release date will be a month ahead, which means that the device will be available in the same month it is officially announced.

Samsung is said to be pushing for a Galaxy S6 March release. The company usually releases its smartphones during the Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona every year and the next event will fall in March 2015. This means Samsung would just have a narrow time-frame between its Galaxy S6's announcement and release.
