Los Angeles Police are searching for a male Hispanic youth who stabbed to death a 14-year-old high school student in East Los Angeles on Friday afternoon. He knifed the victim on the chest, said LA County Sheriff Deputy Ryan Rouzan.
The victim was stabbed outside an East LA School, although he is a student at David Wark Griffith Middle School. He was brought by firefighters to the County-USC Medical Center but was eventually declared dead, reports 10 News.

Rouzan said it is unknown yet if the stabber is a student at the East LA middle school. He reportedly used a pair of scissors to stab the victim right after classes just ended. The victim sat in a semi-open corridor of the East LA School when he was approached by the suspect, who after stabbing him was last seen walking south, along Fetterly Avenue.
Besides his Hispanic features, there was no further description of the suspect, said Sgt. John Sagardia of the East LA Station's Sheriff's office which deployed homicide detectives to investigate the incident.
LA Unified School District spokeswoman Monica Carazo said parents of the Griffith Middle School students were informed of the incident through phone recorded message.
