The NYPD is investigating the massacre of a Queens family on Saturday night in which the gunman is the head of the family. What is puzzling investigators is that the gunman, 34-year-old Jonathan Walker, told a friend that night he was going home to have some beer and watch Netflix with his family.

On Friday, he was even seen outside their home smiling, while neighbor Ramseys Destrada even described the Walkers as a "nice, happy family." Destrada added that Walker didn't act edgy or on the verge of a breakdown.
The clue would likely come from the lone survivor of the shooting, the 12-year-old daughter of Walker, who killed himself after shooting to death his other daughter, common-law wife and mother-in-law, reports Newsday.
Walker, who weighed 260 pounds and stood at 6 feet and 6 inches, was found dead inside his silver 2013 GMC Acadia. He appears to have shot himself in the head using a .45 caliber gun found inside the car parked in a wooded area near the John F. Kennedy Airport.
Found by police at 148 Avenue in Brookville were the bodies of 7-year-old Kayla Walker, 31-year-old Shantai Hale and 62-year-old Viola Warren, Walker's mother-in-law. They all had head wounds and declared dead at the scene of the crime.
The lone survivor was the one who reported the carnage by calling 911 despite having a bullet wound also on her head. She is in critical condition at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park.
Robert Boyce, NYPD chief of detectives, said that Walker called his brother before he shot himself and gave a cryptic message that "What I did, I cannot come back from."
Destrada explained the gun to Walker's job as a nightclub bouncer. But despite his work that requires a tough guy, he was a family man often seen in the neighborhood with his two girls or dining with his wife and mother-in-law. He used to be a professional basketballer in Europe.
