Windows 10 With Cortana Available to Download

Microsoft has quickly made the new version of Windows 10 available to 'insiders', Build 9924 was uploaded a few days ago and allows users to test out virtual assistant Cortana, alongside other new consumer features.
Not everything is available in the new build and Microsoft is still internally testing some features to make sure they fit before allowing testers to try them out.

This is not the last build either; Microsoft is committed to a long testing process for Windows 10, possibly taking up most of 2015 as it looks to refine the experience.
At the Windows 10 conference, Microsoft said it was taking feedback from the 1.5 million insiders seriously, and will look to implement most of the new features asked for, if enough community support is behind it.
The new openness from Microsoft is uneasy given its previous one-dimension development route, but this could be a great move to push through bugs and issues with Windows 10.
Cortana has quite a variation of bugs at the moment, but Microsoft should quickly be able to sift through the majority of those issues before actual release.
Microsoft has given no date on when Windows 10 will officially launch or how much it will cost for XP, VIsta and Windows 7 users after 2015. Windows 8 users will be able to pick up the operating system for free.
The software giant is also preparing to launch Windows 10 on mobile and tablet, but has not given specifics on compatible devices. Microsoft unveiled quite a bit more at the Windows 10 event, including Surface Hub, Xbox One streaming and Windows Holographic.
