Notorious hacker group Lizard Squad has reportedly hacked Taylor Swift's Twitter and Instagram social networking sites, and claims to have stolen nude photos of the American singer-songwriter.
Lizard Squad is infamous for its distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks on gaming networks Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. It claims the attacks were part of an effort to expose server flaws and ultimately force the gaming giants to upgrade their security.

Lizard Squad has been called a group of hackers because although the group crashed the servers of online networks, they technically weren't hacking anything. That's been changing as of late, however.
The group recently attacked the official website of Malaysia Airlines, essentially taking the site down and replacing it with a headline that reads, "404 - Plane Not Found" above the group's logo. The group also claims it compromised user data in the process.
"Going to dump some loot found on www.malaysiaairlines.com servers soon," Lizard Squad boasted on Twitter.
Fast-forward to today. Lizard Squad claims to have taken over the Twitter account of Taylor Swift who's got over 51 million fans. While the account was being hacked, the group asked its millions of fans to follow "GDKJordie", the alleged leader of Lizard Squad.
Lizard Squad also claimed to have come across nude photos of Swift, which the group said it will release if it receives a small payment in Bitcoin. This could just be a ploy for the group to try and cash in on a social media break-in, but it does come at a time when private celebrity photos were leaked online.
"Cause the hackers gonna hack, hack, hack, hack, hack... Never a dull moment," Swift said via Twitter after regaining her account.
