Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon star Zhang Zi Yi is officially engaged. The actress gave a sweet "yes" to her rocker boyfriend Wang Feng who proposed on her 36^th birthday celebration yesterday, according to AsiaOne via Stomp Strait Times.

During Zi Yi's birthday party, boyfriend Wang Feng went down on one knee as romantic music played on. To add more surprise to the moment, a white drone flew in, carrying the diamond ring to the couple, Chinese News NetEase reported.

Moved to tears, the 36 year old actress said yes to the proposal as crowd cheered on.  A roaring applause was received by the couple.

The celebrity guests at the birthday party were singers Na Ying and Wang Lee Hom, who was escorted by his wife Lee Jing Lei.

Zi Yi, previously told Sina Entertainment last November that she expresses her interest to marry soon since she wasn't getting any younger.

She later clarified in December that it was the media who kept persuading the 43 year old Wang Feng to propose and definitely not her.

Zi Yi was previously linked to director Zhang Yimou, while shooting her debut movie The Road Home.  Both vehemently denied the affair.

The actress was also engaged to venture capitalist Aviv Nevo. They eventually separated in 2010, with Zi Yi emphasizing that she grew up in a traditional Chinese environment and wished that her ideal family life would be that way.

Zi Yi briefly dated CCTV host Sa Beining before eventually settling down with Wang Feng.

The romance between the rocker and the actress was widely accepted by the fans especially that moment when Feng openly declared his love for Zi Yi during a concert in 2013.
