HTC One M9 Leaked Images Hit The Web

The new HTC flagship smartphone is coming, and first images have finally hit the web.
HTC is preparing to launch its 2015 flagship smartphone at the Mobile World Congress on March 1. And like last year, photo leaks arrived a few days before the announcement.
It looks like the HTC One M9 design will remain identical to the HTC One (M8) with a metallic unibody in silver, black or gold. The major difference this year is the camera will be a square black lens rather than a circular transparent lens from last year.

HTC's design is the best in the business, one of the only Android smartphones competitive with the iPhone when it comes to looks. Despite the rather unflattering sales in 2014, the Taiwanese company is keeping the same style.
Internally, the HTC One M9 will feature a 5-inch 1080p display, 2 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage (plus microSD card expansion) an UltraPixel front-facing camera and 20 MP rear camera.
Android 5.0 Lollipop will be available on the HTC One M9 underneath a layer of Sense 7 UI. There's no information on any new apps coming from the Taiwanese company despite Apple, Google and Samsung all working on payments services.
HTC might also be launching the One M9 Plus at MWC 2015, making it almost identical to the Apple iPhone 6 and 6 Plus launch in terms of naming convention. A wearable might also be in the works although it's unknown if this will be launched at MWC.
Even if HTC is famed for its design, the 1080p display and lack of any real software improvements might hurt them, especially with rumors Samsung is going all out on the Galaxy S6.
